My name is Carlos Alegre Jr. from Cambridge, Ontario. My
journey through fatherhood began 10 years ago when we found out my wife (then
girlfriend) was pregnant. Though I always knew I would be a father of many, I was
terrified for many reasons:
This blog is a window into my #DadLife As a father of one, stepdad of 3 and boyfriend to one Awesome Mom, I want to share my stories and experiences with YOU! More and more dads are stepping up to the plate and being awesome and if I can inspire one more dad to become a Superdad, my job here is done! My family includes Me (obviously), my love Lucia, my son Antonio (8 years old) as well as my step kids Francesco (12), Gianluca (9) and Mikayla (5).

Reaching that
point of unequivocal selflessness that will influence every decision you make
going forward. When you come to terms to with the fact that it's NOT about you.
To realize there is someone out there who relies on your presence, guidance and
love every day is both intimidating and motivating as well.
